Paul Goldenberger (Owner) grew up in North Bend, WA. After graduating from Mount Si High School, he joined the U.S. Coast Guard and became a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer (Aviation Survival Technician). After seven years of service, Paul honorably separated, and began working as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor while going to school. In June of 2013, Paul graduated from Bastyr University with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Nutrition and Exercise Science’. Paul is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness field. He loves outdoor activities such as kayaking, mountain biking and snowboarding, and is passionate about helping others reach life changing improvements in their capabilities.
Kim Goldenberger (Owner) grew up in Issaquah, WA. She started her fitness journey as a runner but quickly fell in love with all sorts of physical conditioning and outdoor sports. Kim’s passion for health and fitness led her to Bastyr University. In June of 2014, she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Nutrition and Exercise Science’. Kim is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with over 15 years of experience in the health and fitness field. She also has a specialized background in marathon running which earned her 2nd place in the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in 2010.
Kristen Cavallari grew up right here in beautiful North Bend, WA. Her love of fitness came later in life after deciding that she needed to make a change to better her health. After learning how to eat a healthy diet and become more active through walking and hiking, she lost 60 pounds in a year. Realizing that she wanted to do more, she joined a gym and worked with a personal trainer which allowed her to lose an additional 60 pounds. Officially hooked, she knew that she wanted to share her passion of fitness with others. Kristen is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise and is ready to help others reach their fitness goals!
Jessica Martinez grew up in Dallas, TX with her two older brothers. She moved to Annapolis, MD for college and after graduation, joined the U.S. Navy as a Surface Warfare Officer. Jess’ five years in the navy were spent in Oahu, HI and Everett, WA on two Destroyers. She became fascinated with how maintaining a healthy lifestyle and incorporating yoga increased the mental and physical health of her fellow Sailors. Jess started offering sunrise and sunset yoga sessions to encourage Sailors to move their bodies daily. After serving five years, Jess transitioned out of the military and completed yoga training through TRIBE Military, earning her certification as a 200 HR Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance. Jess currently resides in Issaquah where she spends the majority of her time running (both on the roads and the trails), hiking, camping, and of course practicing yoga.
Dr. Emily Borders grew up in Everson, WA, a small town along the Canadian border in Western Washington. She was a dancer (recreational and competitive) for several years which started her passion for movement and led her to pursue a Registered Yoga Teacher certification right out of high school. After that, Emily went to Western Washington University where she studied Kinesiology and dance, while teaching yoga, dance/dance fitness, barre and cardio bounce. During this time her passion for helping others live a happy and healthy lifestyle grew, so she continued her education at University of Washington where she earned her Doctor of physical therapy and then at Boston University where she completed a neurologic physical therapy residency. After a long education journey, Emily moved to Issaquah and is excited to get back into teaching group fitness classes. Outside of physical therapy and fitness training, Emily enjoys hiking, camping, aerial silks, paddleboarding, swimming, biking, and trying new types of exercise.
