Holly was born and raised in Puyallup, WA. Inspired by her grandfather, she loved running from an early age. Participation in youth run clubs and then cross country and track and field fueled her passion to move for the challenge and joy of it. That passion led her to Bastyr University, where she graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Nutrition and Exercise Science’. Holly is now an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Physiologist (EP-C). She has a wide range of experience in one-on-one and group fitness settings. Holly’s personal and professional experience thus far has shaped an approach toward fitness that emphasizes movement that feels good, cultivation of the mind-body connection, and continuous exploration of the many amazing things our bodies can do, all from an evidence-based foundation. From its origins in running, her own continuous exploration of movement has included yoga, slacklining, indoor bouldering, rock climbing, and hiking.  As a trainer, Holly values the opportunity to be a part of each person’s journey and strives to hold space for both the joy and challenges that come with any worthwhile endeavor.
