Kim (Owner) grew up in Issaquah, WA. She started her fitness journey as a runner. It didn’t take long however, for Kim to fall in love with all types of physical conditioning and outdoor adventures. Her passion for health and fitness led her to Bastyr University. In June of 2014, Kim graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Nutrition and Exercise Science’. In addition to this, Kim is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is also currently Group Exercise and Spin certified. She has experience leading all types of fitness classes such as Spin, Pilates and HIIT boot camps, just to name a few. Kim also has a specialized background in marathon running, which earned her 2nd place in the Seattle Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in 2010.
Paul (Owner) grew up in North Bend, Washington spending much of his free time in the surrounding mountains hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding and more. After graduating from high school, Paul joined the U.S. Coast Guard and became a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer (Aviation Survival Technician). After seven years of service, he decided to pursue his love for fitness and adventure in the private sector. Upon his honorable separation, Paul became certified with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, returned home to Washington and began working as a Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor, while going to school. In June of 2013, Paul graduated from Bastyr University with a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Nutrition and Exercise Science’. Paul has over nine years in the health and fitness field with a wide range of experiences.
Krystle grew up in Fall City, Washington cultivating her passion for the outdoors from an early age. Growing up as a swimmer, Krystle quickly picked up a knack for instructing swim lessons and taught both children and adults for more than 13 years. It was through these lessons that her love for connecting with and coaching others in physical activity began. At the age of 18, Krystle completed her first triathlon which drove her to learn sport specific training methodologies and how to connect these into an overall high level fitness program. This wide array of training and her love for hiking and rock climbing even led Krystle and her husband to climb Mt. Baker in 2014. Her passion for the understanding of the human body and its amazing capabilities, steered Krystle to Bastyr University where she obtained her Bachelor’s degree in ‘Integrated Human Biology’ in 2016. In addition to this, Krystle is a certified ‘Group Fitness Instructor’ with the American Council on Exercise.
Connor grew up in Snoqualmie, WA. From a young age he developed a passion for athletics, starting him on his path towards fitness. While attending Mount Si High School, Connor played baseball, and was captain of both the football and wrestling teams. He then went on to play Division 1-AA football at California Polytechnic State University, where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. Connor also holds a certification with the American College of Sport Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer. As a longtime athlete, Connor has spent more than half his life training and uses this experience to help athletes become faster, stronger and bigger (or smaller!). And though athletes are his specialty, he enjoys working with people of all ages, genders and body types to help everyone reach his/her fitness goals.
Andrew grew up in Issaquah, Washington but has lived in North Bend for the past 8 years. Prior to running fitness classes at BasePoint, Andrew taught swim lessons and water aerobics for the Si View Pool where he discovered his passion for leading and teaching. Andrew is currently attending Bellevue College, finishing his Associate’s degree, and then plans on transferring to a 4-year University where he will earn a Bachelor’s degree in ‘Psychology’. Andrew is a certified ‘Group Fitness Instructor’ with the American Council on Exercise and is passionate about inspiring others to feel good and lead healthier lifestyles.
